Chris and his sister Claire starred together in Resident Evil - Code: Veronica back in 2000, a game bearing some similarities to 7 and 8 in that regard, and further investigation of the Connections or new information on Blue Umbrella could reveal similar stories to those of Mother Miranda, Eveline, and the Four Lords.

Not A Hero picks up right at the end of RE7, switching out Ethan for Chris and setting you on the hunt for Lucas, the remaining member of the diseased Baker family that managed to evade capture in. Further expansion of his presence and examination of his and his squad's disillusionment with the BSAA would fit with the series' tendency to upscale its scope as stories progress by placing its current arc in the context of the world's politics. It’s lazy, it’s uninteresting, and it’s utterly underwhelming.

Sure, it may well indeed be free to download, but that doesn’t give it a free pass. The emphasis on action in this DLC is far too dominant to be considered survival horror. They took a beloved character, one that has staunchly been No. As a fan of Resident Evil 7 and a huge fan of the series, I thoroughly enjoyed Not A Hero for what it is. Not a Hero takes almost everything that made Resident Evil 7 so great, and tosses it out of the window. If Chris goes even anti-hero its a change in story.

It is still a fact that Chris in this game is the same Chris across the RE series games. The Resident Evil series is known to not having consistent appearances with most of its characters. He's one of the series' original two protagonists and has grown from a cameo and DLC character in RE7 to the Winters family's benefactor and rescuer in Village, with Chris getting a section better than RE6 toward the game's end. They were just played out in the less interesting plot of RE7’s two DLC releases. Chris' appearance has been changed a lot of times already in almost every RE game releases. All Antique Coin collectibles that are found in the DLC campaign are numbered in. After the end of the main Resident Evil 7 game, Chris is tasked with finding Lucas Baker, who escaped into the salt mines. Just like the main RE7 guide, this guide breaks up the walkthrough based on major events that Chris must complete.
